The Canyon Santa Monica’s Evening Intensive Outpatient Program

The evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at The Canyon at Santa Monica is designed for working professionals, college and graduate students, parents of young children and others with obligations during the day. It provides the same level of care as our daytime IOP in a complete, comprehensive treatment program that offers support for recovery from addiction and mental health conditions.

Features of our evening Intensive Outpatient Program include:

  • Psychiatric evaluations and consultations to provide honest assessments from our experienced team of professionals in order to determine all areas that need to be addressed, including any co-occurring disorders that may be contributing to the need for treatment or hindering recovery.
  • Evidence-based group therapy focused on developing coping skills, implementing relapse prevention strategies, identifying co-occurring issues and creating space for valuable peer feedback.
  • Master’s and doctoral level therapists because education and experience matter when it comes to providing with you the best overall treatment program possible.
  • Flexible scheduling with programming that runs each evening from 6pm-9pm.
  • Individual therapy and case management because no program is one-size-fits-all. Each person is unique with specific treatment needs and issues.
  • Acupuncture and massage to help those in treatment to reconnect with their bodies, lessen stress, sleep better, minimize pain and restore overall health.
  • No-cost aftercare process groups so you can continue your recovery journey with the support of the professionals who have been with you from the beginning.

Dear Friends,

On November 10, 2018, the Woolsey Fire destroyed The Canyon at Peace Park’s treatment facility. At this time, The Canyon at Peace Park is not accepting patients for any services. We arranged for the safe and seamless discharge or transition of all patients when we were forced to evacuate due to the fire.

For over 12 years, The Canyon at Peace Park has been privileged to provide integrated treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders to patients across the nation. Our main focus has always been on our patients and their success. We have served hundreds of patients and their families, providing exclusive treatment and services for a wide range of behavioral health and addiction issues.

Our trained, compassionate staff has been committed to delivering quality patient care with dignity and respect, with the goal of helping our patients return to their communities as healthier individuals. We are extremely proud of the sacrifices of those who worked every day, often under challenging circumstances, to positively impact our patients’ lives.

We thank the physicians and staff for their expertise and dedication in providing high quality, compassionate treatment and care to the patients we have served.

We look forward to carrying on The Canyon at Peace Park’s legacy through our outpatient locations in Santa Monica and Encino. Foundations Recovery Network also has other residential and outpatient facilities around the country offering the same high quality of service you’ve come to expect from us.
